About

Sophie

As an autodidact photographer and multi-passionate creative, Sophie has established a base in Vienna. Specialising in portrait and documentary photography, her approach consistently highlights the beauty and simplicity found in everyday life.

Her journey into art and photography commenced at a young age and evolved into her current profession. Despite exploring traditional career paths such as primary school teaching and various office jobs, along with studying Art History, Sophie's free-spirited nature found solace in the freedom of working independently behind the lens.

Preferring a non-conforming and playful approach to her work, Sophie also relies on structure to fuel her creativity. Carefully created moodboards serve as a foundation for translating thoughts and inspiration into tangible images, whether captured analog or digitally. Inspired by the forward-thinking yet serene Impressionism movement, she immerses herself in the present moment, capturing emotions, characters, and atmospheres with compassion and empathy.

Transitioning into this role, Sophie remains dedicated to appreciating each individual's authenticity. She effortlessly creates a safe space for collaboration, valuing each person's present form and the connection shared. Through her lens, Sophie aims to frame visions, translate them into compelling images, and tells the unique stories of those she collaborates with.
